17 Hours of Connection

New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day are historically some of the hardest days of the year , especially for veterans, service members, first responders, and those navigating isolation or emotional strain. OPERATION FIREWATCH exists to provide presence, conversation, and community during this vulnerable 48-hour window. No fixing. No diagnosing. Just showing up.

what this is

  • A drop-in virtual room, open continuously from 1700 December 31 to 1200 January 1
  • A peer-driven support environment
  • A place to listen, talk, or simply be present
  • Facilitated by trusted MCHN hosts to keep the space safe and respectful

WHAT THIS IS NOT

  • A clinical or therapeutic session
  • A crisis hotline
  • A commitment or obligation
  • A requirement to speak

You are welcome to come and go as needed.
